Gohar obtained his MSc in Signal and Image Processing at the Dept of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Alberta. He worked under the supervision of Dr. Li Cheng and Dr. Xingyu Li, on digital character control using Generative AI, focusing on Human Motion and Interaction Generation. Previously, he worked in the industry at AltaML, Teradata and Hotpot.AI, on various Computer Vision and Machine Learning projects including Image Matting, Generative Inpainting, 3D Fault Detection and Predictive Analysis. Before that, he recieved his Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from National University of Sciences and Technology, where he conducted research on Neural Network Acceleration for Embedded Hardware.
